1 My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. 
2 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress,

7 My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, 
  my refuge.
8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to 
  him,for God is our refuge.  

10 Do not trust in extortion or take pride in stolen goods; 
   though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them.

11 One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, 
   O God, are strong, 
12 and that you, O Lord, are loving. Surely you will reward 
   each person according to what he has done.

Renewing The Mind.

1 - Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world

1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies 

    as living sacrifices,holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. 

2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by 

    the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and  approve what 

    God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. - Romans 12:1-2

 2 - Be made new in the attitude of your minds

22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self,

      which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the 

      attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God

      in true righteousness and holiness.- Ephesians 4:22-24

 3 - The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come 
       from the Spirit of God

14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit

      of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them,

      because they are spiritually discerned. -  I corinthians 2:14

4 - wisdom comes from heaven

15 Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of 

     the devil. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find 

     disorder and every evil practice. 17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven 

     is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, 

     full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.-James 3:15-17

5 - Take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ

3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 

   The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the 

    contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish

    arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the 

    knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it

    obedient to Christ.- II Corinthians 10:3-5

6 - Be led by the Spirit

16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful 

     nature. 17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and

     the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each

     other, so that you do not do what you want. 18 But if you are led 

     by the Spirit, you are not under law - Galatians 5:16-18

7-Those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on 
   what the Spirit desires

5 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what 

    that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have

    their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6The mind of sinful man is death, 

    but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; 7 the sinful mind is 

    hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. 

    8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. 9 You, however,

    are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives

    in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to

    Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit

    is alive because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus

    from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will

    also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. - Romans 8:5-11

8-Let's live by the truth

21-But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen 

     plainly that what he has done has been done through God.- John 3:21

9-keys to Renewing The Mind

Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and

      night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will

      be prosperous and successful. - Joshua 1:8

1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand

    in the way of sinnersor sit in the seat of mockers. 2 But his delight is in the law 

    of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. 3 He is like a tree 

    planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf

    does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. 4 Not so the wicked! 

    They are like chaff that the wind blows away. - Psalms 1:1-4
