How to get and maintain freedom

1-Jesus was anoited to Preach the Message of Freedom

Luke 4:18-19

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me

 to bring Good News to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,

that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free,

and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.

2-Jesus gave his life for our sins

Galatians 1:4

                  Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father
              planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in 
              which we live.

3-Sin is no longer your master

Romans 6:14

         Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live 
         under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live 
         under the freedom of God’s grace.


4-Key to Maintaining your Freedom

John 8:31-32

                    Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my
               disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.  And you will know
               the truth, and the truth will set you free.


Proverbs 4:20-24

 My child, pay attention to what I say.
  Listen carefully to my words.
 

 Don’t lose sight of them.
 Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring

 life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.

  Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course

 of your life.

  Avoid all perverse talk;
  stay away from corrupt speech.

If these things are clear to you, happy are you if you do them. - John 13:17

Jesus said to her, Did I not say to you that if you had faith you would see the glory of God? - John 11:40 

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the harmony of the Holy Spirit, be with you. - 2 Corithians 13:14
